Photo Recap, The Beginning of 2013

Looking at recent posts I see that I haven't been very good about doing photo recaps lately! I also went back into my Instagram and see that I have hardly been posting any photos! So there is a new goal for 2013, more photo documentation of everyday life!

This weekend my friend Ashley and I decided to go on a little adventure... which ended up with two tattoo virgins making friends with a tattoo artist named Payton and getting inked! It honestly all happened within an hour or two... We were enjoying our favorite pizza in town and all of sudden Ashley asked "You want to go get tattoos?" and the rest is history. 

I am a total typography nerd thanks to my friend Abby (the beautiful tall girl in the 3rd picture down), so I told them exactly what font I wanted, what size, and where they could go to download it for free. They were entertained by my specific request. Haha, but in my defense, I have thought about a tattoo for years!

This was Tucker and Parker on Christmas morning opening their gifts! Now that I am away from home I miss them ALL THE TIME! Life without a dog is rough! (Look at their cute Christmas collars! awww!)

Got the spend New Years Eve with two of my favorite ladies (among other friends, sorry guys)! We made some friends while we waited in line to get into our favorite Brewery and hung out with them the entire night... The evening ended at our friend Tom's apartment with an amazing pizza and lots of laughter.

Gnomes. Not much else to say about this one! When I was down in Wichita, my friend Liz and I had a heck of a time trying to find a gnome, and now that I am home in Michigan I can't seem to go anywhere without finding a plethora of them! Is it even lawn gnome season? Because it was 20 degrees  here today. lol

Little Miss Amelia! I miss her terribly all the time! One of my roommates is allergic so I could not bring her with me... This was her keeping me company while I worked on my paintings for my Etsy shop! She is so sweet and adorable and lovable and I think about her all day every day!!!! (cat lady?)

Ashley and I at the tattoo parlor waiting to get ours done! She made me go first because she was pretty sure I was going to chicken out... I am pretty sure she is right so it worked out for the best lol... I have a low tolerance for pain.

And finally this just makes me laugh. My roommates bandaged up my arm with heavy duty plastic wrap (the kind they have in warehouses) and packing tape... the best moment was when Jimmy cut the tape with his hunting knife. The reason they did this was so I could shower without soap and shampoo irritating my fresh tattoo. For those of you who don't know, I live with three guys that I honestly met the day I moved in... It sounds risky but it could not have worked out any better! They are seriously amazing!

I think that is about it for now... This recap was FULL of selfies which are rare for me so it probably wont be that way next time I around, I promise! lol Hope everyone else has had an amazing last couple of weeks too! :)
